About ReLIFE

ReLIFE is dedicated to transforming the EU building sector by making data more accessible and actionable. By streamlining data exchange, ReLIFE aims to accelerate deep renovations, improve energy performance, and support the EU’s mission to reduce emissions and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

Our open-source platform serves as a central hub for crucial building information, including financial and technical details, enabling better decision-making for key stakeholders such as banks, energy service companies, and building owners.

  1. Enhanced availability of buildings data
  2. Broader access to building performance data
  3. Stronger Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
  4. Improved quality and cost-effectiveness of EPC inspections
  5. Innovative service impact
  6. Renewable Energy savings and generation of 15,205 GWh/year and 430 GWh/year
  7. Sustainable Investments by nearly 9,339 m EUR

The Consortium brings together 8 partner organisations and 3 associated partners from 6 European countries:

Our Partners

CTIC
CTIC develops the platform’s software and automation tools, ensuring data structure, governance, and infrastructure are aligned with project needs.

EEG-TUW
EEG-TUW leads WP2, focusing on data acquisition, quality control, and contributing to the development of building-related data models and tools.

NTUA
NTUA leads WP3, driving the development of advanced energy and environmental models, data integration, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

e-think
e-think contributes to data quality control, forecasting, user service development, and financing scheme mapping, while leading capacity building and training.

EURAC Research
Eurac coordinates the project, builds a database to monitor building stock and energy consumption, creates a user-friendly platform, and provides business models for replication.

IEECP
IEECP provides policy analysis and recommendations to address barriers and gaps in EU policies related to energy transition.

ECOSERVEIS
Ecoserveis leads WP5, focusing on platform analysis, user research, and creating a user guide.
